Alex Liebergesell
Creative Director
As Principal and Creative Director at QNA, Alex originates and executes
principal design projects in communications and branding, and serves
as project lead on all Web and IT assignments.

Prior to founding QNA in 1992 in New York, Alex worked
as a Designer for F. Eugene Smith Design Management,
an industrial design consultancy in Akron, Ohio. Currently,
Alex also teaches graphic design and interactive media
at Pratt Institute as an Adjunct Assistant Professor,
and has taught graphic design at the University of
Akron, The State University of New York at Purchase,
and Yale University.
Alex received an M.F.A in graphic design at Yale University,
and his B.F.A. in graphic design at Kent State University,
Ohio. Alex is a native of Tokyo, Japan.
Jim McKibben
Creative Director
As Creative Director at QNA, James originates and executes projects
in print and media communications for businesses, publishers and
institutions.

Previously, James served as the Art Director for the
School of Visual Arts in New York and a Senior Designer
at Chermayeff & Geismar. His work has been recognized
by the American Institute of Graphics Arts, Print magazine,
the Art Directors Club and the Type Directors Club.
James received his M.F.A. in graphic design at Yale
University and his B.F.A. in graphic design at Indiana
University. James has also served as a Vice President
on the executive committee of the American Institute
of Graphic Arts, New York Chapter. He has also taught
courses in typography at the School of Visual Arts.
James is a native of Rome City, Indiana.
Po-Liang Lin
Graphic Designer
As Graphic Designer, Po-Liang executes projects in print media, information
design and animation, and works extensively in scripted time-based
media.

Prior to
his association with QNA, Po-Liang worked in Taipei
as Animation Assistant at Eastern Multimedia Co., Ltd.
and as a Graphic Designer at BBDO Taiwan Advertising.
Po-Liang received a Bachelor’s Degree from Da
Yeh University Changhua, Taiwan, and is currently a
candidate for a Master of Science Degree from Pratt
Institute, New York. Po-Liang is a native of Taipei,
Taiwan (ROC).
Ajay Khanna
Strategic Partner
As Strategic Partner, Ajay Khanna brings software development and
project management expertise to complement QNA's IT project team.

Ajay has held numerous technical lead and co-architect
positions for a variety of projects, among them the
Purchasing Workflow System for the Electronic Marketplace
initiative at IBM, corporate intranets for Ernst & Young,
and NASA's Activation Framework software, an artificial-intelligence
based trajectory tracking system.
Prior to his association with QNA, Ajay was co-founder
and CTO for Fabria.com, a New York-based consultancy
providing supply-chain solutions for the apparel and
fashion industries. Ajay received a B.S. in computer
science with distinction from the Worcester Polytechnic
Institute in Worcester, MA. Ajay is a native of Bombay,
India.
