Prior to founding QNA in 1992 in New York, Alex worked as a Designer for F. Eugene Smith Design Management, an industrial design consultancy in Akron, Ohio. Currently, Alex also teaches graphic design and interactive media at Pratt Institute as an Adjunct Assistant Professor, and has taught graphic design at the University of Akron, The State University of New York at Purchase, and Yale University.

Alex received an M.F.A in graphic design at Yale University, and his B.F.A. in graphic design at Kent State University, Ohio. Alex is a native of Tokyo, Japan.

Previously, James served as the Art Director for the School of Visual Arts in New York and a Senior Designer at Chermayeff & Geismar. His work has been recognized by the American Institute of Graphics Arts, Print magazine, the Art Directors Club and the Type Directors Club.

James received his M.F.A. in graphic design at Yale University and his B.F.A. in graphic design at Indiana University. James has also served as a Vice President on the executive committee of the American Institute of Graphic Arts, New York Chapter. He has also taught courses in typography at the School of Visual Arts. James is a native of Rome City, Indiana.

Prior to his association with QNA, Po-Liang worked in Taipei as Animation Assistant at Eastern Multimedia Co., Ltd. and as a Graphic Designer at BBDO Taiwan Advertising. Po-Liang received a Bachelor’s Degree from Da Yeh University Changhua, Taiwan, and a Master of Science Degree from Pratt Institute, New York. Po-Liang is a native of Taipei, Taiwan (ROC).
